Want to embed a YouTube video into your WordPress posts and pages?
Luckily, using WordPress, this is very VERY easy to do.
In fact, it will take you less than 5 minutes!
That’s because YouTube embedding is built into WordPress (thanks to Jetpack).
This means you won’t need to mess with any HTML code to insert your video.

Video Tutorial: How to Embed YouTube Videos
YouTube embeds are built into WordPress, but we need to install a plugin called Jetpack to use them (Jetpack comes preinstalled in most WordPress installs. You just need to activate it and then follow the set up instructions which appear).
Once you’ve installed and activated Jetpack, you can use what are called shortcodes to display different types of media from other sites, such as Slideshare, Vimeo, and Spotify. Click here to find out about these other shortcodes.
To embed YouTube videos, you just need the URL of the video, which will be something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZ55SezxxsI
Then, just use the YouTube shortcode, which is:
