Earlier this year, Pinterest rolled out it’s advertising program called Promoted Pins.
Because the program is still relatively new and demand for Promoted Pins is still low, it may be possible to use Promoted Pins on Pinterest to acquire traffic on the cheap.
What are Promoted Pins?
Promoted Pins are just like regular pins, except you pay to give them wider exposure to Pinterest users than your organic Pinterest following. To use them, you pin as normal to your one of your pinterest boards and the use the Pinterest advertising dashboard to set your targeting and budget parameters. Impressive ROI of Promoted Pins
In fact, both stated they were able to buy traffic at around seven (7) cents per click – way under what you’d pay on Google Adsense or Facebook.
