I’m a big believer that the businesses which succeed are the ones that deliver amazing customer service and support.
This doesn’t mean that their customer support agents are helpful. It means that throughout the company, there is a sentiment to put the customer first and find ways to solve their problems. And even better, delight them in the process.
Companies like Zappos, MailChimp, Amazon, and Apple come to mind.
For the past 5 years, I’ve been delivering WordPress support and making sure that the level of support I deliver goes over and above when possible.
And now, with my new venture, WP Radius, I’m making sure that we put the customer first and deliver both an amazing product and experience.
So I put together a list of 5 tips I’ve either learned first hand, or were taught, that have helped me succeed and published it at Torque.
The 5 tips are:
- Customers don’t remember what you say or do, but how you made them feel
- Underpromise and Overdeliver
- Respond in a Timely Manner
- Go Over and Above…But Don’t Go Crazy
