Freelancing was where I saw my first success online.
It started with offering 30 minute WordPress training sessions, and grew into larger and larger development jobs.
But being a freelancer, being your own boss, and working from home has a level of stress you don’t see as often in traditional 9-5 jobs.
You have to wear multiple hats at the same time…some days you are an accountant, others you are phone support, and others you are a developer. You have the solitude of working from home or your office. And you have to be available at odd hours of the day.
Not to mention, there is no such thing as a guaranteed pay check.
It took me a long time to learn how to handle the stress properly.
So I wrote a post entitled “Feeling Stressed? 5 Tips To Beat Stress As A Freelancer” that was published over at Torque.
Check it out and learn how to handle your own stress.
And P.S., it isn’t only for freelancers.
